Shu (Shuichi Narita) is Director of Brand Creative at Nike Tokyo, where he leads the creative direction behind the Swoosh in Japan. As part of the Marketing Leadership Team, he shapes strategy, develops bold visual narratives, and brings concepts to life in collaboration with artists, athletes, and international teams.
With a deep foundation in design and art direction, Shuichi crafts creative vision that resonates across cultures and platforms. His work is rooted in design thinking and storytelling, and has been recognized with multiple creative awards for ideas that leave a lasting impact and rally internal teams around a clear creative purpose.
A cross-cultural Creative Director fluent in both Japanese and English brand storytelling, Shuichi has a career spanning top agencies, startups, and consultancies. His experience includes building brands from the ground up, leading global campaigns, and driving transformative rebrands across more than 20+ clients in industries ranging from technology and fashion to telecommunications and consumer goods.
Prior to joining Nike, Shuichi worked at Leo Burnett Chicago, Hill Holiday New York, Leo Burnett Singapore, Dentsu Singapore, BBDO Japan, FJORD Tokyo, and Accenture Song (Droga5) Tokyo.
Outside of work, he obsesses over refining his own design and storytelling craft and, most importantly, enjoys time with his son and wife.
